(The N.C. general tax rate is 5.5%, the Dare County rate is 2.25%, and the Dare County Occupancy tax rate is 5% for a total of 12.75%).

  • $150 will hold your week for 5 business days

  • A 50% deposit (including 1/2 the tax) is due at the time of your reservation. The remainder of the money, the taxes and a $200 security deposit, are due no later than 30 days before check-in. Any reservation made 30 days or less before check-in require the entire amount. The $200 security/damage deposit will be held in escrow and returned with confirmation of cleaners and the return of your key.

  • Cancellations can be made up to 45 days prior to your reserved dates. If cancellations need to be made less than 45 days prior to your reserved dates, we will make every effort possible to re-rent the unit. If it is re-rented, your payment will be returned. If the unit remains un-rented, no monies that have been paid will be returned. In case of voluntary or mandatory evacuation (in case of hurricane), any reserved dates that you are unable (due to evacuation) to use, will be credited to you. You can either transfer these to another date, or you may be refunded the money.
